Our internally-developed software decides when and where to buy and sell, and automatically places orders at exchanges around the world. Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer, you will make a substantial contribution to our software infrastructure. Senior developers do various types of work, including developing new trading programs, enhancing or creating libraries and frameworks that underlie the trading programs, and creating systems for our operations and back office groups. This position requires expert-level Java skills.

The right candidate must have most of the following:
• *EXPERT* core Java skills
• Understanding of complex, multithreaded systems
• Experience with TCP/IP communication
• Solid Linux or UNIX experience
• Good communication skills
• Good object-oriented and architectural design senses
• Direct responsibility for mission-critical systems
• Experience in the full software lifecycle, from design through deployment and support
